Shanghai Ziteng Packaging Material Co., Ltd., subsidiary of Shanghai Zijiang Enterprise Group Co., Ltd. is a joint venture invested by Zijiang an Hongkong New Shanghai (International) Group Co., Ltd. The company covers an area of 75000m² and the investment reaches an amount of USD29.8 million. Established in Dec. 1995, the company was constructed in July 1996 and put into production in August 1997. Currently there are 130 employees, 40 of which are management executives and 15 of which are technicians. 32 person have college diploma or over.

　　The main product, 3-layer non-oriented casting film, is a new substitution of packaging material. The products are classified into lamination (CCP), aluminum metalized (MCP) and retort film (RCP). Thickness of the film ranges from 20μm to 100μm and width from 400mm-3000mm. According to the applications, the CPP has multifarious types as low temperature heat-seal, high friction, extra-flexibility, packing film of napkin, etc. It has the features of high transparency, excellent performance of low temperature heat-sealing, and well distributed in thickness, and is widely applied in food, pharmaceutical, textile, vegetable packaging etc. The MCP, with excellent anti-resistance, anti-oxygen, anti-humidity, is applicable to extensible, oily, creamy food and pharmaceutical packing that can greatly improve the storage of the packed commodities. The RCP, with excellent heat-resistant characteristics (135℃x45min and -15℃), is used to pack cooked food and special products.

　　Two casting machines, which are the widest and most advanced in the world, were imported from MITSBUISHI, equipped with a KAMPF and a NISHIMURA slitter machine. The annual production capacity is 12000 tons. It is scheduled to import 2 more lines to be the biggest domestic specialized CPP supplier until 2005 with the scale of 20000 ton annually.
